Methi Aloo (Potatoes with fresh fenugreek leaves)

Methi Aloo is one of the simple and easiest dishes you can make. Baby potatoes would be ideal for this subzi, but I used the normal ones. Goes well with puris/rotis/chapatis.


1 onion chopped
1 potato, sliced and boiled
1 cup fresh methi leaves chopped
1 small clove garlic chopped
2 slit green chillies
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/4 cup fresh cream
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste


In a pan, heat oil. Fry onions until golden brown. Add chopped garlic, green chillies, methi leaves and fry until the leaves are cooked. Add the masala powders, salt, cream and potato and mix well.
